Complaints against police officers

Sûreté du Québec police officers are subject to the Code of ethics of Québec police officers. This Code establishes the duties and standards of conduct of police officers, special constables and highway controllers in their relations with the public during the performance of their duties.

To file a complaint against a police officer, visit the Web site of the Police Ethics Commissioner.

Please note that the alleged breaches must have occurred in the performance of the officer’s duties.
